Does the job, although the control panel software that ships with it
is intensely irritating. And the win2k card driver sucks - my laptop
bluescreens if the card is removed for any reason. Roaming can be a
headache.

Depends on the train! The network stack does some kind of connection
spoofing, so you can tolerate short periods of lost connection and
will also switch the GPRS seamlessly.

Worthwhile improvement over GPRS, but I have a suspicion that a
bluetooth dongle and 3G phone might work better than the current crop
of 3G cards?
