If the modem is ethernet terminated, but you run PPPoE software on the PC,
then
this will work, however you are relying on the ISP from stopping other
people on
the same "ethernet segment" from getting back into your network
thru either
blocking different protocols or limiting it to the MAC addy that initually
does
the PPPoE discovery. this is unadvisable.

If the modem has a USB connection use that to one computer and then
ethernet to
the rest, otherwise a second NIC is adviable, you can get crappy slow USB
ones
for next to nothing if you have no desire or ability to put another card
in, and
as its only broadband it should keep up fine.
