I'm planning on building a DVR as well. That looks like a really good
card, have you found somewhere that sells the card for a good price? I
couldn't see it on dabs or ebuyer, which isn't helped by the appearing not
to be a model number for the card.

Also is anyone out there using MediaPortal?

I've currently got a win2003 server with 1.2TB of storage and am hoping I
can install some software on it or maybe a seperate box to make it a PVR.
Ideally I'd love to be able to schedule recordings etc via my XBMC on my
XBOX which would talk back to the video server on the network. Put thats
just a pipe dream.

Rob

P.S. I've not been reading the list for about a year, but stayed
subscribed. Looks like I've got about 1400 messages per month to go
through from 2004-06 :-(

What have I missed? Is the Kat 5 switch out yet?
