My seimens phone together with the USB dongle M34 works as a normal
landline phone,
SIP and Skype all at the same time :-)

xAPTel already supports Skype - so you can place, log and receive calls
on Skype via xAP... and using xAP Switchboard you can send display
messages - even to Windows Media Centre now or Text to Speech perhaps,
or you could even flash your lights,  turn on the sprinklers and text
your mobile  ;-) ;-)  - oh..and...... if the asterisk / xAP part was
released.... ;-)

Not the solution you wanted but at least you'd know of the call arrival
and caller detail.    A hardware line would be far more approriate I
think  though ;-)
