x10 reliability in heat

  • Subject: x10 reliability in heat

Hi,

I have two appliance modules located in my loft and both have
failed since yesterday. I haven't got the ladder out yet to have
a look. Is it likely that the heat could have killed them?

Also how susceptible are x10 signals to noise? Can they be triggered
accidentally? I ask because G1 always seems to come on and off at
random, and I am sure no-one around here has or even knows what x10 is.

Thanks,
Stephen.
