I want to do the same thing, but want to know how best to actually do
it.... Was this easy to do? Can you do it via the online account system?
Is it best to sign up to Privacy before cancelilng the CallerID package?
And am I likely to suffer any period without service?

(You would think these were simple questions, but I couldn't get a straight
