RE: wiring question
I'd do both - a Cat5e & 4 core mains to the top corner of any window
you may
want to control. Cable is dead cheap and easy to pull in just now, so
better to have wired for all eventualities than to find out you cannot use
the kit you want because you don't have the right cable.

I'm busy wiring the new house and need to put cable in for future Venetian
blind automation.
The question is: Should I wire with mains or low voltage cable for the
