I've found that it's more important to have the correct usb dongle for the
PC as not all support the headset profile. I recently bought a usb
Bluetooth
adapters from 'mobile fun' (http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/product/1412.htm),
specifically to use my sonyericsson HBH-35 with the laptop for voip (win
XP). It works fine using the x-lite software SIP phone. I have also tried
it
with a Jabra BT250 headset with similar results. My old belkin Bluetooth
usb
dongle does not work with the same headsets even with a driver update from
belkin. Googling shows the most popular drivers with the headset profile
are
the widcomm drivers. I assume any Bluetooth usb dongle with these drivers
should work. Regarding headsets, most will pair with more than one device.
The HBH-35 will pair with 2, but only rings on the most recent pairing.

The other thing you have to remember is to connect the Bluetooth headset
with the PC before answering or placing the call, otherwise X-lite doesn't
use the Bluetooth audio adapter and routes the sound through the sound
card.
This is achieved by pressing the button on the Bluetooth headset, or from
the system tray, connect, Bluetooth headset, HBH-35, before answering the
call.

Hope this helps

Iain
