Hard disk recover companies

It appears that I lost the hard disk on my laptop over the weekend. I'm
currently not sure what is wrong with it, but the BIOS can't even see it,
so I suspect it's a bit buggered. However, I need to recover some of the
data from it (please don't ask about recent backups or I'll go and sulk in
a corner). Does anyone has any recommendations for companies that
specialise in data recovery?
