It *may be* possible if both support WDS (the "funky stuff which gets
them
working together").
They have to be on the SAME channel with SAME encryption keys, and both
routers are configured with the MAC address of each other.
Its generally problematic to get working (google for "WDS
problem" for
example!) so using the same manufacturer with same firmware would ease your
pain somewhat!
