RE: HA enabled FISH TANK owners?

None of my fish ever complained - by dying as conversation is a little
hard. Think of it as a cloudy day ;-)

The strips need replacing every now and again as they wear out pretty
quickly. Keep an eye on them for brightness. I can say though they work
with one end in the water as this happened to mine a couple of time. Make
sure they are secure!!

Whilst not HA consider carefully your filtration method. I would not
recommend under gravel as it needs maintaining every now and again and
this is a big job. I used a trickle feed over crushed coral in a home made
container above the tank. This takes some time to set up but works
brilliantly and was virtually maintenance free for the several years we
had fish.

Finally, buy your fish carefully as one of mine, a powder blue tang was a
real bully. Introducing other fish was a real problem once he got settled
in.

Sounds like X10 will be the order of the day. Having 40 odd LD11's and a
handful of AD10's running the house lights, I'm aware that they're not
100% reliable - what's the danger/worst case if lights don't come on
occasionally?

Paul.
