There is only one display I know of (excluding computer based monitors)
that is true HD ready and that is a 45" LCD panel from Sharp.

That panel is NOT 1080HDTV. It only has 768 pixels so simply can not be
full 1080. Unless the panel has 1920 x 1080 pixels then it is not really
HD. Saying that, Sky may support the inferior 720 HD standard so that
NEC would be fine.

Whatever panel you get, make sure it either has HDMI or DVI with HDCP.
