"System Link" is a method by which two or more xboxes on the same
network can play against each other, if the game supports it. For free.
"Xbox Live" is Microsoft's online
"Play-against-others-wherever"
service, which is not free.
XBConnect and Xlink essentially create a VPN between multiple people's
LANs so that they look like they are all on the same network together.
So any game that supports System Link should (theoretically) support one
of these services.
