Paul,

I went with a 3 phase board with the phases linked so that it is actually
s=
ingle phase... It is a 36 way.

The board wasn't cheap (I treated myself as it had a clear door) and I
deci=
ded to go the RCBO route for socket ccts as an RCD was very expensive. By
u=
sing RCBOs I can offer more protection, 30mA per circuit, rather than
300mA=
. I say this because 30mA would trip very easily shutting off that cct,
not=
a problem if it is one cct, but when it is half (or more) of the board the=
WAF goes down fast...

I intend to install an X10 filter at the incoming board (which I call Node
=
5) which is at the entrance to the property, just after the RECs meter and
=
isolation switch. As I have no permanent supply at this time I haven't
carr=
ied out this part of the install.=20

Anyone know what=92s the biggest consumer unit you can get in a single
encl=
osure? I currently have a MEM 16 way split unit but need another way (mine
=
are all used up) for supplying an X10 filter.

Thanks,

Paul.
