What would be the capability of the base model. Does it have a PC
equivalence in terms of spec?
/me knows very little about Macs apart from the fact they ALWAYS look
loooovely!

Also most home normal users just have analogue speakers. As this is a
computer that is meant for people who don't really like computers, it seems
logical to have analog audio.
