Re: Network Attached Storage as MP3 jukebox?

Seen the Linksys NSLU2?

Great little box, silent network attached NAS head unit, you just slam a
couple of large USB2 disks in the back (like Maxtor Onetouch 300GB drives)
and bobs your uncle. Even can do things like backup disk-2-disk and
disk-2-share. If your feeling brave there are some hacks around to install
an iTunes server on the box etc.....

Well worth a look, its only £60.

Regards
Simon

That
leaves you with roughly £300 to build the rest of the PC. I already had a
spare PC, but you could go for:

> AMD Athlon 64 2800 - £65.95
> Abit NF8 Mobo - £54.95
> Corsair 512MB DDR Value Select PC3200 - £44.95
> Chieftec BA-01BBB (with up to 14 drive bays) - £54.05
> Vantec Stealth PSU - £44.97
> ATI Radeon 7000 64MB - £15

in
handy if you have 1Tb of storage.
