Hi darren,

Were you drilling from the top (the face of the unit) or from the
bottom?

Try from the bottom with a piece of scrap timber below, don't use a
normal wood bit either, you'll need a bit that looks like its almost got
a flat end, however it has a small point in the middle. I think they're
called auger bits but I may well be wrong.

Hi All,

What's the best method of drilling 6mm holes in a plastic
(polycarbonate?) wallplate? I've tried a couple and it cracks /
looks untidy.
