I'd guess not.
If you want to do that, I think you could use an "ATA" adapter,
run
asterisk or similar, and put an FXO card in to connect to your landline.
Plenty of cards on ebay for a tenner (eg 5738271046) and an ATA box can
be had for around £70 (eg. 5751848289) . Bit more than your £35 though...
(Not got any of them either!)
