My meter was replaced a few months ago - I was quite annoyed when they put,
what looked like, an even older meter in its place. I have economy7 so it
needed the two meters.

If I switched to a standard tariff, would they just read one line rather
than swap the meter?

Alex.

I called the Npower today, according to them they(?) replace the meters
only
every 15-20 years.
Mine is now 15 years old (spinning disc type), but after 15mins of looking
he couldn't find a replacement date, but *assured me they would let me
know*
well in advance.
So I guess it haven't appeared on the radar yet, and will be another 5
years... Great..... :(
