RE: More Sky+ Grumbles

Rob

You're not alone with the sky+ lip sync problem - it used to drive me potty
- but thankfully we cured ours...

I have cascaded my Scarts - XBox-DVD-Sky+-Netgem JS RGB-VGA Convertor.

The cure is to use the audio from the DVD at the same time as watching the
Sky+ video output - this seems to introduce a slight delay in audio which
stops the lip sync problem - works for 99% of Sky stuff.

Dean.

Thanks Tim. Much like the flippin lip synch issue which ONLY exists with
Sky+ (Not on Sky with Tivo or DVD or Meedio or Xbox!!!) I have learned to
live with it until I get round to DUMPING the complete pile of poo that is
Sky+. Oh and that goes for support staff at Sky too!

/me feels better now!

SORRY!

Many thanks,

Rob

Rob,

Apologies for the late response . . . too much time on a plane, and I'm
filing all my HA emails :-)

I see this black strip on News 24 sometimes. Mostly on the RHS, not
vertical and a little bit on the LHS too. I don't see it on any other
channel . . . weird !

I've got FTA Sky and a CRT TV, so I don't think it's a plasma issue.

Cheers,

Tim H.
