I had a couple of quotes in London. I reckon somewhere in the region of 10
grand depending on exactly what you are doing for the wiring.

It's not just the design that will take time but I think you'll find the
cost quite surprising - I did when I got some quotes and ended up doing it
myself. Took two of us about 2 1/2 weeks of all day and late nights to get
all the Cat5 and alarm cable in.

I don't want to put a downer on it but just wanted to make sure you were
aware of the work involved?
