Gareth,

=20

Sorry!

=20

I thought when it said

=20

=93(this brochure is freely available from any O2 shop=20

in case the O2 staff don't believe you when you ask for this deal -=20
otherwise, a copy of the relevant page is available here).=94

=20

The word =93here=94 was meant to be a link to an online copy!

=20

Thanks,

Gareth,

Any chance you could post the relevant copy of the page of the brochure?

I am so close to purchasing one!

But I still think I should wait for the P990 ?. But the release date seems
so far away!

from one of the bargain forums...

[O2 shop] XDA Exec on Data 5 tariff - minimum term cost =A3162.79=20

Here's how:

In the January 06 guide from the O2 shop on page 33 the O2 XDA Exec is=20
listed as free on any business tariff of =A345 and above and =A399.99 on
al=
l=20
other business tariffs (this brochure is freely available from any O2 shop=
=20

in case the O2 staff don't believe you when you ask for this deal -=20
otherwise, a copy of the relevant page is available here).

The cheapest available business tariff is the standalone Data 5 tariff
at=20
=A39.40 per month inc VAT (=A38 per month ex VAT) which has a minimum term=
=20
committment of 12 months. Furthermore, if you trade in an old phone when=20
you get the XDA Exec then you will receive a cheque back for =A350 within
2=
8=20

days.

Minimum term cost:

O2 XDA Exec: =A399.99
Data 5 tariff (=A39.40 x 12 months): =A3112.80
Trade-in old phone: -=A350

Total: =A3162.79

So for =A3162.79 you get a Windows Mobile 5 Pocket PC with VGA=20
screen/camera/keyboard/bluetooth/wifi/GPRS/3G/GSM mobile. I don't think
a=20
deal like this is going to happen again within the next few years=20
