RE: DVD to *smaller* ISOs ?

With DVD shrink it is best to strip out all the garbage, if it is region 2
it will likely have multiple languages which can all be dropped. This
reduces the compression ratio but allows you to keep all the menus. If you
want you and dump any "extras" but you would then have a dead
button on the
menu. Getting down to 2Gb is going to involve a lot of compression as you
may be taking it down to between 25-33% of original, you can set the
compression to rip it down to a single CD if you want but it will suffer.

Use DVD shrink to create the ISO and then use demon tools to mount ISO and
play it using something like WinDVD to check the quality. I usually rip
mind
down to fit on a DVD or sometimes as lossless using dual layer, these play
fine on my Xbox and it means the original is kept safe a scratchless!

Cheers

Hmmmm, indeed. Does it allow you to reduce to say 2 gig? Will have a
look.
