Thanks, well said ! Actually, I wasn't knocking MS - Office on the
Mac has a lot going for it ! OTOH my comments were born out of my
daily frustrations and the rather odd tendency of people to blame
themselves rather than demand something better ... . Apple did once
make the pretty stupid mistake of keeping things to themselves ...
but that's been changing for a while ... . Of course they're far
from perfect ! But I do think they offer the prospect of a way
forward that everyone can participate in, not just IT devotees !
Some time ago I bought Bill Gate's book ... keen to read of his
vision & his house, with its HA ... what a disappointment (to put it
mildly !)
