I use the 1.7 homeseer 30 day trial version on a win98 laptop machine.
only disadvantage is you may have to reset the date to the original=20
installation date when rebooting, once it's up and running again you=20
put back the correct date (to calculate correct sunrise etc), it's=20
been like that for 6 months plus, rebooted the machine maybe 3 times=20
for virus updates, works a treat - don't have to reboot win98 so=20
often as there's no more patches coming out :-)
PS : to reset time & date I use a small app (think it's called=20
activesync by Eazi Peazi - freeware), it's a 1 click solution to=20
reset the time and it solved my clock running too slow problem ;-)
once homeseer is started.

Forget about activehome.
