Yes, I agree with Chris' sentiments here - people do try (even in the
big business world) to do it the other way round.... and it always
ends in tears.

I'll second that. Ben "locks people in" by doing a professional
job
for a reasonable price, making sure that he is first choice next
time. He does not need to engineer future business by preventing
people from changing their own programming.
