Of course, if you want HD Films and TV programs and have sufficient
bandwidth to cope with the large file sizes (and have the originals
and are just looking for HD versions!) there is always the Usenet
newsgroups.

For example checkout this link and enter HDTV in the Search box.

If you want some instructions on setting up reliable UseNet access
(on a mac but the principles the same) checkout this Quicktime Movie
I did for ScreenCastsOnline.

The only difference on a PC is finding a usenet reader with NZB
support. I believe Newsbin (www.newsbin.com) will do this.
