Whereabouts did you find the manual Rob?

Thanks James

That prompted me to d'load the manual. It seems the 26" and 32"
have both
RS232 and and IR Port. The control set on the RS232 looks as well featured
as my older 30" LG LCD. You can also set a device ID for multiples of
the
same set.
............Now where did I put my credit card?

Rob

That LG screen that I was looking at has an IR in connection on a 3.5mm
jack, I assume the larger ones in the same range will also. Not sure
about discreet codes though.

Whilst on the subject of LCD's I'm back on my eternal question :-)

Anybody found a decent 30"-32" with RS232 control or discreet IR
for
inputs, on and off?

Rob

My brother bought the acer 26" screen from ebuyer, after they sent him
a
screen with an eu plug and some eastern European manual/warranty, he
sent it
back for an exchange - which they didn't get right and refunded him.

So, he bought the dell (when it was on offer) and tells me that the
screen
on the dell comparatively 'urinates' all over the acer screen in terms
of
clarity and picture quality.

I haven't seen either yet though.

Might be worth looking at the Acer AT3201W from ebuyer.

Only =A3760 for a 32" HD ready set. Worth a look at the reviews on
ebuyer. I'm quite tempted :)
