Just got this:
----------------------------------------------------
Your opportunity to be part of the
UK trial for an exciting new service from the BBC!

The BBC is testing its Interactive Media Player =96 iMP =96 in September=20
with 5000 users across the UK.

what's BBC iMP?

We all know how irritating it is to miss that programme you've been=20
waiting to see or hear for ages. Well, with iMP - Interactive Media=20
Player =96 you'll never miss another programme again. Now you can=20
catch up on TV and radio programmes for up to seven days after=20
they've been broadcast, using the internet to download the programme=20
to your computer.

You'll be able to access BBC TV and radio programmes at any time,=20
day or night, by downloading them to your computer =96 completely=20
legally (through peer-to-peer technology) =96 even copying them to=20
your mobile phone or PDA to view them on the move.

what's it all about?

>From September 2005, the BBC will undertake a UK-wide trial of iMP=20
and Bulldog is offering you the opportunity to become trialist. The=20
trial will help the BBC to assess the demand for certain types of=20
programmes. If you are selected, for each week of the three month=20
trial you will be able to choose from up to 600 hours of BBC TV and=20
radio programmes, as well as local programming and feature films.

To be considered for the trial, please go to

www.bbc.co.uk/impregistration=20

for more information.
-----------------------------------------------

I have signed up for it! I am keen to see the quality and=20
compatibility compared to other products like MCE, etc.
