Subject: [ukha_d] Pulsed water meter - what are the wires for ?

Hi,

I am now the pround ower of a pulsed water meter (along with a pulsed
electricity meter and pulsed gas meter). The electricity and gas meter have
a simple 2 wires coming from them which are normally open and then close
for
every pulse - all very easy. The water meter has 4 though and the useful
supplier is not really sure what they are for. Any ideas ? Its a standard
water meter with a magnetic sensor on the dial to read a magnet inside the
meter itself.

I guessed at 2 power supply + 2 as for the others but can't see why it
would need a power supply.

Ta
Chris
