For all of you that worry your electricity bill is far too high, there
migh=

be a device coming out to help you reduce your costs. Basically it reduces
the incoming mains voltage to something around 210v and keeps it there. UK
electricity runs at a nominally 230v +/-10% giving a wide range of possible
voltages that appliances have to work over. The device basically removes
th=
e
variation and permanently reduces the voltage.

Unfortunately this is not available to the UK domestic market yet,
apparently trials are current being done, but it does look like something
worth looking at in the future. Have a look here
