The only thought I have is that most IR sensors (not sure about
yours - have not come across these models) have a jumper which cane
be set to two counts or four counts - or high sensitivity and low
sensitivity - If so, you should have the sensor to the lowest
sensitivity / highest number count.
You may also try to re-orient the sensor so it covers a likely
burglar path - but least likely, insect/pest paths!
The only two other reasons why this sensor may be given you bad
readings is mouse/bird-trapped OR condensation.
