RE: Ice and Sinks

Tim

When I replaced my kitchen sink, I got 'low profile' fitting from B&Q
of all
places...

(or:-)

=false&PRODID=149502&paintCatId=&maxBullets=999

I had to add the u-bend (which turned out to be a bit of a bugger with my
particular sink) but I was pleased with the resulting extra space - it
means
I can fit large tins of dog food under there.

Subject: Re: [ukha_d] Ice and Sinks

I wanted to add an icemaker into my kitchen as there is nowhere I can put a
large Fridge/freezer with integral icemaker - so I bought a stand alone one
on a whim. It is great - 15Kgs of ice in 24hrs and 12 mins to first cubes
from a standing start - but as it was an impulse internet purchase I didn't
look at the measurements - I was expecting something the size of a
breadmaker, but got something a bit larger - so siting it is a problem. I
could put it under the utility sink if the trap etc didn't reach so far
down. Does anyone know of "low profile" under sink fittings - It
is a
standard sink with a washing machine outlet. I may be able to work around
it.

Any ideas gratefully received.

Tim.
