Hi All,

I'm trying to install MCE 2005 on my son's PC and everything was going
fine until it was installing devices. My CRT monitor LED's started to
flash and nothing was displayed on the screen. I tried restarting a
few times but the same problem came back. I then hooked up my 17" TFT
flat panel in the vein hope that at least it would get it past the
point of screwing up when testing the monitor but no! This time at
least I saw something 'Input signal out of range' and after 30 seconds
my TFT shut itself down.

Any clues as to what's going on? Are there any install switches
stopping the monitor test?

The other problem is now I can't even get his PC back to it's original
XP Pro desktop (I did select UPGRADE when originally installing MCE)

TIA
Darren
