I don't know if this is any use, but I use a switched mode power
supply from Farnell that is DIN rail mounted.

I use this to power my CAN bus network and video security cameras. It
outputs +15Vdc which I have a current meter inline with to monitor the
output. As it can supply 3.5amps it is plenty ample for what I use it
for. Currently only drawing about 800mA from it with all devices on.
