A mate had a similar one he was going to put in an RC car.
The transmit frequancy drifts with battery voltage, and a rechargable 9v
(really
only 7.2) isnt enough to get it to work.
That was a 1.2Ghz one, apparantly the 2.4Ghz ones are better, no mention of
what
the bigpockets one is, but the reciever has a tuning control rather then a
channel switch like the 2.4Ghz ones do.
