Hi there,

I have my antenna inside the loft, get most of the channels but I think I
am
missing a few. I have no complaints with it but I may move it outside to
see
if I can get the others.

At my folks however I needed to put it outside the house as the slate roof
killed the signal dead.

When my wife was in hospital I managed to get a signal off of a set top
aerial

Might be a case of suck it and see then.

Sean

PS that may not have been the most helpful post I ever done ;)

I'm just about to leave NTL for Freeview and therefore need to get a
digital TV antenna. Question is, inside or out?

I've got the builders arriving to extend my garage, but once done i'll
have no access to the chimneys and so fixing to these won't be an easy
option.

I was considering an aerial in the loft, but don't really know if it
will be sufficient. In terms of signal strength, i'm on a hill in
Nottingham so I would assume i've got reasonable reception. Roof is
standard tile.

TIA.
