Hi Ho Yin

I have an HCI machine from my employer, we can also offer this
service to other companies as I do work for a large computer
manufacturer. I posted details here previously of what we offer so
will not do so again.

I think the main issue is that you need to remain employed by the
same company, if you know you will do so it is a good deal. However
if you leave during the 3 year rental then you have to pay all of
the remaining payments from your "NET" pay. So if you are a
higher
rate tax payer then you can rent the machine at almost 50% of normal
cost but if you leave you have to pay the full cost without the tax
breaks.

Its odd but the way that it works you save more as a higher rate tax
payer than someone on basic tax ( that doesn't happen often!)

The benefit for the company ( if they are large enough) is that you
pay the rental from your gross pay so they save on employers NI
contributions. I guess you need to be a certain size for this to
make sense and cover the admin cost.

Please mail me off list if you have questions.

Regards
Ian
