Webcam monitoring

I've got an Axis webcam monitoring our hallway here at work, and
ZoneMinder doing a grand job of the actual monitoring. But what I'm
looking for is a good/reliable way of displaying a live feed on a
full-screen monitor on the wall in the office (ie CCTV style).
Either pulling a feed from the webcam itself, or ZM, requires an OS
and a webbrowser, which so far seem to regularly crash (or just the
MJPEG stream freezes). Anyone have any ideas of a 'simpler' way of
doing this?
