My en-suite is in a loft conversion, so the tanks are lower than the shower
head.
Consequently, I have a pumped shower using a pump designed for these
negative head
situations. The pump is in the airing cupboard (with the hot & cold
water tanks) next to
the shower. It all works very well, serves only the shower, and is quite
quiet.

But maybe this question would be better on the self build group?
