Home build X10 receiver?

new to the group - hello all!

I want to build a single unit that controls up to 12 triacs/relays to
control 12 lamps
etc.

Is the X10 CM11a circuit schematic and software public?

Prefer to use a PIC micro.

Can do this with my I2C bus but it is getting too long to be reliable.
