I thought most ups didn't ? I have a an APC 3000 and I'm not sure it does.
Unless you have a sabouteur in the office, it sounds like bad luck.
Statistically 'clumps' like this are not as unusual as you think. Could be
to do with the climate in he office ?

They are APC SmartUPS 1000's

What sort of UPS? Some types don't regulate the voltage as well as others.
