Oh yes.  Several folks on here have.  Including moi.

It works as advertised.  But saying that doesnt convey just how cool
it is to pop a hole in the floor to see some mystery that lurks
beneath, it really is a great tool.

But before tackling your real floors, get some scrap chipboard and
have a go in the garden.  Practice helps :-)  And we're talking
routing here, so goggles, ear muffs and a good vacuum cleaner.
