This begs the question - what is "The best"?
Choices:
RGB
YUV
HDMI
VGA

I know you can't improve on the source signal, but thought maybe
converting from X to Y externally means it goes through less processing
once it gets into the plasma...

true.  I need to find somewhere london/surrey with the pd6 and pdp-435 on
display - though I'm not sure the 454 is available yet....
