The decision on whether you can use the RGB to Plasma VGA depends on
whether
your plasma can accept a 15kHz input signal up its VGA port - not all can -
if it can't then you will have to use your component video inputs and use
an
RGB to component converter.

TBH I'll be surprised if you can tell a difference between RGB to VGA and
RGB to component and my own preference would be to keep the VGA port free
for a HTPC. ;-)
