Re: I Need some REAL Advice !! Please HELP.
Hi Andy

HomeVision or another serial device.
Yes it interfaces to Homevisions via I/O pins ....and does both zone tx
and
rx......The serial developement was halted a while back....But now im
working on a serial interface for xPL....FirM does not generate or decode
the ir signals ,this is done by Homevision and in the case of xPL it is
done
by USB UIRT which has been xPLled recently.....At the moment i have the
zone
txing working on xPL and will be starting on the receive side
soon............
Im very impressed with the USB UIRT so far and the support from Jon is
excellent..........
Frank

make just one change rather than three when you change the layout. Also,
you only need one bit of hardware connected to the webserver. As a bonus,
you could login to your webserver from anywhere to check house status. WAP
on your mobile anyone?

or a centrally located multizone amp with speakers in each room.

solutions are xAP/xPL enabled and use a command-line tool to control it
from
Xlobby. That way, everything will stitch together, and your tablet/IPAQ
can
use it too. It's nicer looking than a web page, and utterly skinnable too.
