Yep, I'll second that. Azureus works a breeze.
Enable uPNP on your router though, just opening the required port just
would
not work on my Vigor.

The Azureus client allows you to create your own torrents and run your
own tracker.

http://azureus.sourceforge.net/

You need to setup your tracker details in the configuration, then there
is a wizard to create a Torrent.
