Should be more a matter of taste than budget ... Data projectors are
usuall=

calibrated differently to projectors intended for video - data projectors
are calibrated so that more of their response is at the top end of the
gamm=

curves as they tend to be used in brightly lit rooms where brightness and
brilliance is what you are after. Video projectors should be calibrated so
that they can display shadow details (and other low level information) more
effectively.

Erm ... No ... DLP is definitely a fixed number of pixels too - where'd ya
get that info from?

Check out the Pioneer AX-i series - the AX-10i is stunning but (officially)
=A33k however it has smaller brothers which seem to carry many of its
strengths.
