The "17 minute bug" only applies (did apply) if you upgrade
the=20
stock 40Gb HDU with something bigger. I think the issue has been=20
resolved with latest software releases (for V2 boxes anyway) which=20
update over the air from Sky. Have a look at the PVR section of the=20
digital spy forums. There 1000's of posts on Sky+
I had to buy a new box last weekend as I tried to upgrade the disk=20
on my Pace V1 box (one of the very first units shipped)and for some=20
reason I killed the machine - I hear the disk spin up but no lights=20
or boot sequence. Same thing when I put the old disk back in - I=20
think I must have damaged something while trying to get the disk=20
enclsoure opened.=20
I am so addicted to Sky+ that I went to Dixons and bought another=20
one for =A3199 :-( and now they are =A399!! - I also have Tivo I no=20
longer use since Sky+ started letting you record from both tuners at=20
once.
I think I might have a go at upgrading the new box (thus voiding=20
warranty) with a 200Gb disk, just to see if I can kill another=20
one!! :-)
