Re: [OT] Windows XP cursor changes to cross arrows and stays there :(

More XP SP2 woes ?

Can you you backout SP2 ?

Man When I installed SP2 it wouldn't even boot up the machine would reboot
as soon as the kernel loaded grrrrr

Hour later I discovered the problem being a mouse driver on the USB hub :
Updated the driver and things are ok(ish).....

How the hell do you disable that crap 'Protect my PC firewall' thingie....
better google it.

Subject: [ukha_d] [OT] Windows XP cursor changes to cross arrows and stays
there :(

Anyone come across this before –

In some programs, the cursor changes to the crossed arrow (move) cursor and
then stays like it (replacing the std arrow) until I reset the pointer
scheme in the control panel. Damn annoying :-( Don’t know how to fix it –
don’t want to re-intall!

Ta,

Paul.
